Richard
Herring began showing movies and selling popcorn when he was eleven
years old. He has been a licensed projectionist, security consultant,
manager, developer, owner and filmbuyer. He is an active member
of, and has held offices in, the regional unit of the National Association
of Theatre Owners (NATO).
He was Mid-Atlantic NATO’s
“Exhibitor of the Year” in 1987.
He is an honorary member of the Board of Directors of national NATO
and serves on four committees.
Jan
Herring has extensive experience in both front office and back office
operations. She has performed bookkeeping and payroll operations
for more than thirty years.
She was the recipient of the prestigious IDA SCHRIEBER AWARD in
1993.
She formerly served as Treasurer, Vice-President and President of
Mid-Atlantic NATO.
She is also an honorary member of the Board of Directors of national
NATO and serves on four committees.
Jan is currently Chairman of the Board of NATO
of VA for the 2006 - 2008 term.

Davidson Theatres, Inc. - Chartered in 1963 (Purchased in April,
1984)
Operated the Millwald Theatre from 1980 thru 2005. It opened in
1928 and is located in Wytheville, VA
